Interesting about the rods and reels.  Would youcare to post some of the makes on the rods and reels you import, some specs would also help

I mainly import Filstar products which are new to the maltese market and for the monfilament and braided I impot Lazer products.For rods and reels I am sorry to tell you that the company I am dealing with doesn't have for big game fishing.If you are interested to have a look just pm me.Imagine a 9bb reel for just 25 euros and reel rods 3meters long that can take weight between 10-30grams[light tackle] starting from just 6 euros.Have a look and you will surely don't go out empty handed especially if you are fishing from land or from a boat[not like yours] in not great depths. ;)

Thank you fishfinder its a very good response I am getting about the tackle I'm importing.It helps a lot to hear the good response by every one who tried the rods ,reels and even the mono and braided.

Hi guys, been to spitec and ended up buying a spinning rod, mono 0.60 and 0.20, plus a diving lure. The quality is great and so are the prices!!
I recommend his products highly.

From my side all I can say the stuff are great, I bought all my gear from Spitec in September and they are great. And I love the reel I got from him ;D

Same here i think he has some good quality stuff ;) Recently i bought 2 rods for squid fishing and have even caught barracuda on them !They are quite sturdy

Same here. I does not know about these things and he gave me the best for me. The rod look good for my needs. And all the staff is a real bargin.

Today used and tried the blue lure for bcudas. In half an hr had 3 strikes and lost 2 cos was afraid of the rod. The 1 landed was of 1.4kg and then confirmed that with that rod I could had landed the 1st one much better. Had fun and that lure really works

Today I used some stuff I got from spitec and i must say that everything worked like a charm, the beachcasting rod is light and very sensitive, the reels feel sturdy and the fish alarms worked perfectly. I give tumbs up to spitec's equipment + he's a really nice chap.

Spitec , I am currently abroad but will be in Malta next mid November. Do you actually have a shop that I can come & visit. Do you have any Jigs in stock like the ones they are using in the south for Acciol & Kubrit.

Good news guys today another delivery arrived.I managed to get 2 new items as sole agent.I got new hooks which are double galvanized and very durable(already tested by me and a friend of mine).The other item is Squid jigs made in USA and each one is tank tested.They just launched them in Greece this year and they are making a hit there so I pretend they do the same here (I already tried them)the once I used to catch the squid in the last picture I posted.More information and photos will be posted hopefully tomorrow and about the prices don't worry,you know my prices.

Hilary - I have attached a PDF file with the map leading to Spitec's shop - FISHIN' FEVER.

Shop is in Rabat. As you go uphill through Saqqajja Hill (Telgha tas-Saqqajja), you will find a petrol station at the very top on your right. Keep to your left in the main road and pass the petrol station. You will be in Nikol Saura Street (Triq Nikol Saura). Enter St Publius Street (Triq San Publju) which is the third road on your right. Go up all the way in this street and than turn right in College Street (Triq il-Kullegg), and then immediately to the right again in Count Roger Street (Triq il-Konti Ruggieru). Fishin' Fever is at the beginning of this street. If you follow the yellow lines it will be easy.
