Title: Reasonably sized edible fish
Post by: snice on September 06, 2008, 12:44:03 CET
Hi, was wondering if you had any advice on how and where to look for a decent catch to cook on the bbq. till not ive been mostly spearing around the shore and the fish around there probably weigh less than a kilo at best. Where should i go looking for a nice amberjack or little tunny?

Amberjack is a hard orfer my friend :p..but during this sieson you can go with a rixa for lampuki or also troll around the coast with a lure for some little tunny :)

at the moment there are some nice fish of about 1kg and even groupers of around 3-5kg in deeper water i recommend drop offs between 18-25mt with a goos chance of passing amberjacks and sawrell
