just been fishing on the jetty near power station in marsaxlokk, lots of small vopi about, but i caught a fish and not a clue what it is ,it was about 4inches long, almost see trough, with realy big eyes, any ideas.

will try but having probs, photos look great on pc, but when i print them they are dark, anyone out there with any ideas. ?

Play with the brightness/contrast in Photoshop/PaintshopPro or something similar. Sounds like your flash is set low and is under-exposing your pictures. What type of camera do you have?

if you can't manage then let us know so that you'll send the picture by mail to one of us and we'll do it for you and then we will tell you how we've managed to correct it so that next time you can learn and do it on your own.  ;)

But If they look great on pc just post them to the forum?!..no printing needed..and we can all see the fish more opinions heehe

hi, camera is a pentax k100d outdoor shots still a bit dark.when printed, but show up ok on pc.thanks for all replys, thats what makes this forum great.

Mike most cameras have the facility to adjust the flash intensity, something EV +1.0 would help, it's just a question of finding the setting. PaintshopPro has a one click auto fix button which is pretty handy for post processing.

On mine even in auto I can go into the menu and adjust the flash exposure. Not used a pentax lately so not familiar with it.

      just been to zejtun market, saw fish there i have been trying to id, was told it is whitebait, so i wont have to post photo, will i ?

didnt give me translation, so really i am none the wiser, caught another strange little thing yesterday, eyes on top of head brownish in colour, only about 3ins, any ideas ? i have taken photos, so will post soon.

pay attention my friend with eyes on top of head could be a tracna or a sawt and they are poisonous fish

it could be a stargazer (zondu) and it's poison too. be carefull

caught a spotted tracna/weaver today and I wish to know if to cook and how to get rid of the poison/needle. any help

tracna is good for aljotta.My friend cut the needles like peel the fish I dont like that fish very much because it can be lethal.Pay attention with that fish thats what I tell you
