Hi people,
I am new to this forum so please to meet you :) Its been a long time since I am following this forum and from what I read its very informative and helpful to any fisherman. Finally I decided to become member on this forum.
I have been fishing since I was 7 and my preferences are running float and running ledger. In these past 2 years I was developing and testing a new fishing rig for trolling dead baitfish. Finally the product is ready. It is patent pending.
This rig comes into 3 sizes and you can rig (vopi, bubin, sawrella tar-rixa (sugarello), lacci u kavalli). Bait sizes which can be rigged from 3.5 inches to 12 inches. This rig can be trolled from 2.5 knots up to 5.5 knots. New rigs are being developed so it can take a trolling speed of up to 10 knots with dead bait.
The adavantages of these new rigs are as follows:
The fish can be rigged in 5 seconds only. It does not spin. Most important of all it swims like a real live fish no gimmick.
I posted this information because I want to test them more rigorously since I don't own a boat. I only tested them 5 times with 4 times catches. If anyone is interested in testing them with me please send a reply.
Thanks :)
hi cla144 if you want send me a personal messagge and we can meet
Thanks man. I will send you a personal message then
I am also interested. My boat is equipped with a down rigger, so we can troll at different depths. Send a PM with mobile number.
Interesting post, welcome to the forum. Would be good to see how it performs, I'm sure you will get lots of ppl eager to take you out and try out the rig
Would you be happy in selling them ??
Hi skip thanks for the welcome. Next saturday I shall take a short footage of the rig from shore rigging a small lacca and post it on this forum.
I would like to hear your feedback then :-)
Hi bigboy
Yes I will start selling them hopefully beginning of next year. They are going to be good for alungi for sure and one can compare them with artificial lures since they can be trolled almost the same trolling speed.
Looks like it's an interesting invention and wish you success. In the meantime until it's commercially available can you post a diagram or tell us how it works? I'm very eager to start trolling with live bait next season (Once you've applied for the patent obviously)
Good luck with your rig. Looks interesting. Looking forward to seing some footage.
