Title: Awwrat, Need Help Post by: Canadian_Charlie on May 17, 2011, 18:37:19 CET I'd like to fish for awwrat and would like some help so I can catch them.
Are they bottom or top water? ??? Where would be a good place to go fish for them, I'm fishing from the shore as I don't have a boat yet? ??? What kind of bait should I use? ??? Can I fish for them all year round? ??? They are bottom fish. Whenever I cought one I was chummming with bread and cheese. Bait i used bread mixed with cheese and sometimes even just shrimp. I think they are seasonal. Feeder fishing is great for such species.
You can fill feeder with gilthead groundbait found in most fishing and pet shops around the island.
