Hey guys! can somebody explain to me how to set up the running float technique. I never tried it im new to it. I do have an idea but im not sure about it. If somebody will be that kind i would be very glad. Apart from this, does this kind of method is good for getting saragi by night and what type of line it is better to use?

Guys, a diagram is being prepared. Running float method can be interpreted in various ways and sizes. I use 28 floating main line and 22 at night and 16 during morning as terminals. I never use paternoster terminals (except for vopi) but use a free standing terminal with black needle hooks size 8-10 depending. I use a 30g float with a 25g lead. If the sea is rough float will not sink. Landing net is a must, accompanied with a good reel. The drag will do the landing of big fish or else you will lose the catch. As bait I use shrimps in the morning and korea or imperjal during night. I use big floats and lead for long casting. As knots i use 35 line using a knot we use for hooks. Nylon lines never wear out like the yellow or red thread.
Hope this is enough. A diagram will follow.

I know bikri is very good at fishing with running float but it depends where you go fishing for example I use a light action rod between 5-20g and a very small reel with lots of bb as line I spool it with 0.16-0.20 and float 4g-8g and the final part 0.14-0.16 but you always need to carry a landing net and have good skills with the rear drag.

can go down to 0.08mm lines as terminals.

It's a must to catch mullet in very clear conditions
the fishing gods might have something for me tomorrow I'll be fishing

My friend I landed a 1.5kg awrata on 0.12 all you need is a good setup and use the drag and a net

what type of rod/reel combo and reel size would be recommendable for running float fishing ? is a 2.7mtr spinning rod 5 to 20g ok for the job ? And is a shimano nexave 4000 fb ideal ?

There is no such thing as too much equipment.

For the rod it's ok although it's not made for that type of fishing but you can use it and for the reel it depends what type of fish you will be targeting.
