any suggestions for good spearfishing areas?!

hi to all! i would like to know where the best areas for spearfishing are found around malta and gozo? any suggestions

First of all welcome to MFF forum and hope you enjoy your stay here. Basically it depends on what kind of spearfishing are you into. I live in the northern part of malta so basically I would suggest trying Mellieha for a starter. A place called l-Ahrax tal-Mellieha from the camp site area which is the left hand side area.. If you manage to find this small beach over there, just swim out for approx 40mtrs out and turn on the right. You have a nice spearfishing area over there. If you would need any diving partner to join you up for a dive you can ask over here. I'm sure you'll find someone. At the moment I am recovering after being sick for sometime so basically, I'll try to keep my dives just about 10mtrs. One more thing, never dive alone .... 1 of the most important rules of spearfishing  . If you need anymore help please don't hesitate to PM me.

Hi mate, wellcome again in this forum. I suggest to start doing like or ahrax or bahar ic caghaq or sliema. At the moment over there you can find some blue runners, some ajs, Bcudas and sea breams. For you its a good place where no need to go too deep. In the 1st 10 mtr sure you will find fish
