Best spots from Popeye Village to Marsaxlokk along the east side

Still haven't catched or striked anything!!! 

The best spots are on the west side, I know. Unfortunately, my boat is on a mooring in St. Julian's, so my range only goes from Popeye Village to Marsaxlokk along the east side.

Any ideas where it could work?

Popeye Village is on the West Coast so I think you mean somewhere else.

Focus on the type of fishing you can do on the reefs on the East Coast, heading offshore to hurds Bank or around the outer cardinals marks on the offshore fishfarms.

Alternatively put your RIB on the trailer and launch from B'Bugia or carry some extra fuel as it sounds like you have a small tank.

Popeye Village is the furthest point I can reach on the north west side going up north from St Julians, cutting west at Cirkewwa and then south towards Popeye Village.

I've tried trolling around the fish farms at St. Pauls Bay and around Cirkewwa. Maybe around two miles out.

How far out is hurds Bank or the outer cardinals marks on the offshore fishfarms? Unfortunately, I have no Idea where those spots could be. Do you maybe have a GPS position or a google maps link?

P.S.: I found Hurd Bank but it looks quite far. Even if we make it there we would probably not have much petrol left for trolling around there and going back. Is Hurd bank visible or will I only be able to see it on the Fish Finder? Anything closer?

I think Filfla would be the better option for me, if I get a third tank. How far do you go out there? Just between the mainland and Filfla or even beyond Filfla?
