reel

i have a mitchell spinning telescopic rod....2.7m range from 15g to 40g and a shimano alivio 2500 rb with a good braid 20 lbs to 30 lbs....i want to ask wich fish can i target with this gear...or if i need to replace something...10x a lot and i have learned a lot from this forum, it is very intresting  :)

I would replace the reel to a 4000 - 5000 size front drag reel.. Keep the line to the 20Lb region.. Mono being around 0.30mm and braid around 0.15mm and you can target most fish.. like barracuda,Bonito and the like.. How much line (total length) do you have spooled on the reel ?  sizes differ from one maker to another.

As a starter i believ it is ok if you spin from rocks , i mean it is not good for fishing from cliffs.

Other wise it seems ok from what you said.
