Hi Matrix thanks for your info and feedback. Whilst I can understand what you're saying, bear in mind that screen printing whilst offering the best quality is usually aimed for high volume orders as it becomes very cost effective.

The the main logo (the first one) that can't be done, a) due to gradient fill colour and b) as you point out because you have to have a different screen for each colour.

What I had in mind was to use commercial transfer based printing in order to do a run on white t-shirts using the full fancy logo so that we can make a start.....

Designs 2 and 3 are there to address the issues you have raised, when considering other types of printing like screen printing, embroidery, things like the key chains, mugs etc in fact if you notice in he second one it's a solid blue vector and the third is a plain vector.

So yes we need to look at some colour samples to consider if using screen printing etc.

All images will be in eps or tiff format retaining vectors and CMYK

I like them all but Nando's image looks more realistic but still welldone for all images.

well done to the guys who are working on this project! I tend to agree with the others, that is I fancy the first logo with the calm sea. My second option would be the one in blue which is depicted in the latest gallery pic.

Hey guys an idea would be to put a kind of Maltese flag on the logo like maltese cross red and white for example or the national maltese flag.

This is a very interesting subject, and I have to respect anyone's opinion. I have to give all merits to those working on this project, but as many know me, i cannot, not comment onto something that I do not agree with. I find that until we have not a good (wow) shirt we should not proceed. Since we will be left with just that one, and it will be hard to redo another one.

I love both logos, but as matrix said most professional logos are done by screen printing, with minimum number of colours. I hate transfers since they look really funny and unprofessional. I am of the idea, that we should work for a suitable back picture, and when we are done we continue for the print. For the front logo, we got it already, and it should also be done by screen printing. Look in your wardrobe, and tel me if you find any shirts that are printed in transfer!!

As regards screen printing, simply give me an idea of what you want, (shirt, polo, long sleeve), and how much you want to spend, and I will give you a quote. My friend owes Brother's Ink, and he told me that you pay separate for the shirt, cause you have to choose the brand, if abanderado or fruit of the loom or cheaper. He also stated that every aded colour will cost 15 euros, but not to confuse you, when we decide what we want just let me know, and I will bring this quote.
As regards the image, he said that he can work also with a JPG.

Hi m8s, I have prepared a preview of what I have in mind for the tshirt, another thing I wanted to tell you if you consider to get a sponsor for these tshirts, maybe Mr Fish can sponsor these tshirts by placing a logo on them. Another thing I wanted to ask is if these tshirts will be printed both on the front and at the back as this is an important aspect when designing the tshirt.

I have also prepared a logo that we might use, its in two colour BLUE and RED (nothing politcal guys!) and its suitable for screen printing. This logo need some fine tuning, which I didn't do not to waiste too much time on it, in case it is not approved.
