Just recently got back from spending 15 days on Moana III. Boarded in Cairns and headed North to Cooktown and as far up as Lizard Island where we fish the Lizard Island Tournament. Fishing was  slow while l was there due to wrong currents, but from what l hear it has picked up big time now with many marlin over the 1000lb mark now being tagged and released. We once again ventured out to the sea mount where we caught the 1140lb black marlin last year. We hooked up onto an estimated 1200lb plus Blue Marlin this time, and had we boated this fish it would have been Australian record. Current record stand at 996lb..Unfortunately the fish was dropped at the boat after a 1 3/4 hour battle.
I have attached a few short clips for you to see what l got up to...and also a few photos.
