Yep the pulley rig is another very important rig!....the only thing is that i do not use it if i have to cast sinkers of over 100 grms as the trace to which the sinker is tied and the snood are of the same diameter making the snood too visible.......although thinking about it now i can join two lines of different diameters but ilike my rigs as simple as possible

how far out would you have to cast to ctach something decent?

SPITEC

you don't know where the fish will be far/near but normally you cast as far as possible.
FISHING IS THE BEST HOBBY AND IT'S GREAT FOR RELAXING

I was also told that when beach casting it is better to stay close to the sides of the beach since fish tend to stay closer to the rocky sides rather than in the middle of nowhere. i am not sure if this is correct though ???. maybe someone can confirm or otherwise.

If looking for sargi , yes i'd rather cast somewhere along rocks but it's not a must. We caught sargi in the middle of ghadira and there are no rocks for sure. However casting at a long distance will definitely help a lot as the sea is deeper and not just 60cm deep

I am using paternoster rigs i bought some online but i had to modify them a little bit. The one that was most successful was a one hook set up with a snood of about 1 meter long which goes beyond the sinker and it clips to the main line with a bait clip.
