Like lapsi boy mentioned the first time i tried it i caught a 40 kilo amberjack.I just bought a few jigs and gave it a try........went again several times but nothing Embarrassed I was using a jigging rod of 200lbs but normal reel with .50 line.There was someone in the forum that had all details.I will look it out for you and let you know,cause i forgot his name.good luck. Hi Camkev,

Any chance you can post an image of the 40kg Amberjack you caught and would you disclose from where you caught it ?

Amazing experience for sure camkev - thanks for sharing it with us again.  I know one shouldn't ask certain questions but what details can you give on this fish, such as time caught, debth etc...  If you prefer not to give this kind of info, I fully understand  Smiley
