Two in danger of dying after falling off cliff at night

A young man and a girl are in danger of dying after falling off a cliff at Bahrija on Saturday night, the police said.

The two, a 16-year old girl from Qormi and the 25-year old man from Dingli, were part of a group of youngsters in the area known as Blata tal-Melh. The police were informed at around 2330 CET.

The Civil Protection Department were called on site to  support the operation and both were taken to the intensive care unit of Mater Dei Hospital.

The duty magistrate ordered an inquiry. Police are investigating.

Be also careful not to catch someone`s squid jig! from your boat!! It happened to me while I was fishing for squid and someone from this forum tought he caught a good sized fish!while trolling from their boat!! Well altough I went home empty handed I could say that I lost a BIG FISH!!
