There's a good possibility I'll be joining with my boat and crew if it's on the 20th. This is however subject to a boat moving out of the garage.
I'd rather be fishing.....

How about round 2 on Friday 19th (Public Holiday) as this is showing the best weather forecast so far.

Perhaps Bigboy, Robby and Co. can confirm if there are still tumbrell around?

We'd have to decide on the start time bearing in mind that a few of us have to launch their boat.

if its on friday, i can't make it unfortunately as i have lessons from 9-2pm....... fish are there, you only have to find them ;)

Saturday is showing a Good F3, just touching an F4 but still early days to know for sure the actual forecast. We can choose to monitor and then take a decision on Thursday eve?

What do you think guys

robby017

for me and kane, force 3-4 is no biggie as i'll be with Captain Gus on the SOJ and Kane's boat was able to handle force 5 with me on board..... sooooooo...... we'd better wait till thursday to have a better idea of the weather.

Yes but Rob keep in mind.... it's fishing competition. Let's play this one safe guys. My decision is that I will not launch if it's stronger than a force 3 this time.....

if the wind will be and remain ssw you have no problems on the east coast..... up to 2-3 miles it will still be calm (ilqugh ta l art)..... but if its any different i agree with rennie

with sw winds you will have to forget bahar ic caq area guys unless it is 2-3.

ganni

i think that SW is the best wind for bahar ic caq big!! it should be very sheltered

for up to 1nm yes it is. For me even if it f5 my boat can take it with no problemx but for the small light boats it is not ideal

Guys if you want to do it on Saturday that's ok with me, I will be around for the finish if someone can co-ordinate the start but will not be launching myself due to other commitments.

But it seems most of you are free on Sat......not sure about Luke, Ren, SOJ, Ninja?
