Recently I have been hearing alot about this bibi(hope that I am spelling it right). Has anyone tried it and how did you find it? Till now I have only heard that the frozen ones are not so much good while the live ones are good as tal-Imperjal)

kempy

i found the frozen bibi very good its very good when there are many small fish around as it takes a bit of a big bite to take it from the hook. i have only been using it for the last 3 weeks and have caught many fish from awrata, Sparu, Rundanel, and even a nice marina. (forgive my spelling) There are other fish i caught with it but the list goes on. My friend also tried using it and he hated it Said it was no good. so my thoughts are that its only good if you want to catch larger fish as the smaller ones down seem to bother. As for me i will sure keep buying it

Thks Kempy for answering back. This weekend I am gonna try to use the frozen ones although a friend of mine told me that he used far out at sea the live ones and he caught 2 nice cippulaz with them weighing around 1.5kgs each.

Kempy in your ealier post you said that you found the bibi very effective and that is encouraging. Did you use it while fishing from a boat or from shore with a rod & reel ?
Since summer is over I will no longer go out on a boat ( actually I don't have a boat anymore and am looking for one) and will switch to shore fishing and it would be interesting to find another bait as an option.

kempy

i used it with the reel rod from shore and had great results although when i used it at sea from the boat i did not find it that great to use now when ever i fish from the shore i have 3 types of bait shrimps, bibi and snails the bibi is great when there are lots of small fish about menas it will stay on the hook long enough for some thing big to see it

As regards that kempy yes when there are a lot of small fish particularly "cawl" not it isn't eaten and the hook remains still well hidden up. still with the frozen ones I didn't catch nothing not just one fish while with another rod on the same night same place with the Imperjal I had more bites and at least a few catches. With the live ones I haven 't yet tried them.

Aab if I present you with a Creamy soft mouth watering chocolate cake and a piece of stale bread which one u choose.......same with imperjal and Bibi....

jokes apart Aab did u thaw the frozen ones as fish sense the cold water around the frozen bait and wont even come near it, so first soak the frozen ones till they come to at least water temperature then you will get bites.

The last time I used them approx they were more than 3 hours out and were absolutely not cold. But last Sunday morning i tried the life ones and yes I had more luck since I caught 2 nice sized sargi with them. Still to hook th bait to my hook it took me an approx 12 min each time since I found it a little bit annoying. Also Angler Center near St. Lukes has brought some new American Blood Worms and I have heard other ppl saying that they found them good but I haven't used them yet. When I will try them also I will post the results on them.

[Recently my friend used Bibi on the mrejkba, he attached half of the lines with hniex ta l-Imperjal and the other half with bibi lures.
He found that on the bibi lines he caught more fish than on the ones with the hniex ta l-Imperjal. :o
It seems that they attract the fish more than anything else.

this depends a lot on basic tastes..... i tried all of them but they are only adapt  to certain situations except imperjal

American bloodworm is a winter bait. it is because it prefers cold temperatures and right now it is not cold.... anyone who says that caught something decent with it at this time would be a very lucky man or a big liar.

I had decent catches with it but imperjal and bibi often attract the "big fish" that is my 2 cent opinion but those where my results....

Even Mr fish has American blood Worm, but in my opinion it is not the ideal of all baits right now.

i rekon that the most generic bait is imperial. It is good for anything from kahli to morin to even dentex. And crabs don't attach it unlike bibi and amerikan..... i was cliff fishing once with bibi and american and actually ended up landing a crab.... that day the fishing was spoilt cause every time i casted the bait the crabs kept eating it.

Careful with those baits they are good but can spoil a day of fishiing.....
Good season so far.....
