Hi guys,
today I found this wonderful forum and so I joined it. At first, I want to excuse for my bad english. I?m a German guy from Munich (Bavaria), so english is not my native language but I will improve it.

I?m 32 years old and father of a wonderful, 3 years old girl. Angelina (my daughter), my wife, running (marathon) and of cours fishing (fresh- and saltwaterfishing) are my hobbies.

To saltwater fishing: Last year I had a very good year on the cape verdian islands. I could catch a nice blue marlin with about 500 lb. The weight is estimated, because we realeased the fish.

Well, I joined this forum because I want to learn more about fishing around Malta. I know, in the past there was a fantastic fishing there. A good friend of me (Rober Rein) told me about catching very big tunas about 20 years ago. Yes, this is not the reality this days, unfortunately.

But there are other fish too. I read some very interesting articles here and so I noticed that you catch some Amberjacks and Swordfish too. For me a very good cause to read and write more here.

A big compliment to the Admin and the Moderators. This is a very nice and good constructed forum! RESPECT!

Best wishes from Munich,
Uwe
