Anyone from land today ? Where do you think is best according to the wind and latest catches.

yesturday we spent 3 hrs for barracudas. We didn t had a single strike. We tried from lapsi to wied iz zurrieq and back to dingli. Even there was other fishermens with same results

Same here. no good results so far...these 6 days we tried zonqor point, sliema and dellimara were at least my friend saw a small one following his lure but that was it. We were there at 4.30 am.

guys i was talking to a friend of mine who goes quite a lot for lizz and really gave me an interesting info..... it appears to him that at this time of he year till end august cuda bite a lot less partly due to a lot of voparella around.....

the guy catches a lot and nearly every fish for them he never leaves empty handed.....but he doesn't suggest spinning at this time of the year for cuda

Is fishing in the port good for cudas?Like under Exelsior and until the breakwater near fortina hotel?And what else can you get by trolling in port?Tks

went out me and spitec and were lucky enough to catch one after 3hrs of trolling and this was at about 8pm from bugibba.

Hi guys! Just arrived from gozo hunting cudas empty handed! We spent 2 days there and tried early mornings, evenings, minnows, red heads, blondes (lol joking) ecc. at qbajjar and other locations. I'm exhausted!

according to a friend of mine this is the worst time to fish for cudas. The season will pick up again after sept. Can anyone verify this? It seems from the posts that he is right.

I use to go with a friend and for the last 2 weeks not even 1 catch.

But I meet a guy that he s doing about 12-18 every day and really nice ones but didn t said the place. As from all these catches and nice no. of bcudas and other pelagic fish I think he is getting them from a port.

that is it my friend you need to find their place.i think catching cudas from land is difficult this time of year but if you go trolling find some reefs with a good fishfinder.cudas will be there waiting for prey
