hi guys. my name is stu from devon england. i will be viseting malta in early april a .place called biggabba i think. just like to know if you think its worth me bringing my spinning rod. i usally use 15lb line is this about wright. any info will be helpfull... cheeres see you soon.

Hi Stu, welcome to the forum. I'm not into spinning myself, but bring in your rod. I'm sure by that time you will be familiar with fishing ways here.
There are a lot of topics available on the forum as regards. Entering as a member you will have more info available.
I'm from Bugibba myself, so maybe we meet when you are here on the jetty.

It discusses various places and there are a couple of writeup from people who came from the UK and fished here.

Also have a look in the Ledgering sub board.

MartinB is your man for spinning and you can read up on his exploits in the spinning board.

im not new but i been away from the site for a while now do to work and life the usual bla bla bla, im from england but moved here to malta 4 years ago ...to get married : ( istarted fishing here in malta and i love it looking at garages so i can buy a small boat, im living in da south, and i always start my fishing season off from feb 9 .... till end of november.... so weldone on all the upgrades on the site wih in the last year and welcome newbies and hello oldies

Good morning to all members of the MFF.
I have been following the forum for a couple of months and now I felt that it is time to join you all.
I have been fishing for 1.5years and what can I say....it's another world, fresh air, relaxing views and sometimes a good catch.

I enjoy cliff fishing most and some squid jigging!
