Title: Trolling for plamti
Post by: suffrun on August 30, 2008, 15:01:25 CET
This year I'm interested to troll for plamti. Can anyone advice me on what lure/s to use and if lead (comba) is needed, what weight?

Any kind of help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Redhead, and imsell(i forgot what it's called in english) type are good for plamti. If you are using a good sized lure like redhead you dont need to put lead during summer time.If you are going in winter yes you have to add some weight to the lure cause it needs to be around 3-4 metres under the surface.Regarding speed you should troll about 4knots.If it's early morning during sunrise you can go up to 6 knots.

Best lures for plamti are Rapala husky jerk, Yozuri crystal minnow and white feathered jigs.
