i bught one this week and when the weather is good(i dont know when) i will tell how it went. i am going to try it for squid and for bottom fishing. the salesman told me that in more than 18 metres it becomes invisible. i told him that its impossible because the red colour becomes another colour not invisible. he told that he beileve it also but than i saw an experiment on a video which showed that it becomes invisible. i still dont beleive it but he said otherwise. i bought just to try it not that i beleive what he said

i assure you that it wont become visible!!

not even fluorocarbon lines!! they just have a reflective index that is more comparable to that of water, so they just become less visible when compared to the normal monofilament

thats what i told him but he kept insisting that after he saw that experiment he is saying that the line becomes invisible. i didnt tell him anything else about the line because he thinks that he knows all about everything. there were some comments like this on him in other posts so i dont beleive what he says but its not fair that he tells these things to customers. he is misleeding them

I think 18m down everything starts to become invisible as the light starts to disapear with depth.
