Hi guys I am back here.
I am in for this one. As regards the place I don't want to involve myself this time.
Wherever you do it I will come, but if you need some help or advice as regards the two venues that I mentioned, just let me know. Pls note that the later you decide, the more will be the probability not to find place. It may also be that punch can be busy on the 12.

Hello Guys .. just to let you know that tonight I am going to meet the owner of a place called Zeta in Bugibba. He has a great place and he is even non-stop appitizers provider, which is something really positivie for us :-). I'll speak to him tonight as regards what kind of special prices on drinks he may offer us. I'll let you know with any updates later on 2 nite after I meet him. The honest truth is that I had to go and meet him yesterday but ended up fixing up some pcs up until late.

So guys, Budda is checking about Zeta in Bugibba.

In the meantime I've spoken with Patrick of Punch and Judy and the only day he has available that weekend is the 14th December (Sunday). So if we wanted to do it at Punch and Judy it would need to be the 14th.

Some of you have said that you cannot make it on the 12th, but also 27 people have confirmed for that date, so I don't really want to change dates unless everybody who confirmed is in agreement.

We'll see what Buddhagrass comes back with this evening, but either way let me all know your thoughts.

Guys, lets wait regards budagrass answer, and if he does nt manage to arrange I can speake with the owner of Rita Restorant at Lapsi. Over there its not small, big parking, nothing special but think its enough even we can talk easy, they can manage to cook for who ever wants, and will ask for the drinks price. Normally there they have reasinable prices.

Pls let me know as we need to ask her to book over there in advance due to the number.


Personally for me and even I talked with some guys from the forum they do not come at Punch and Judy due to its undernet  like a Kantina and fell closed down there. For me does n t matter where you make it and do not want to impose any bars or rest but wished to make it out this point.

For me both the 12th and the 14th are ok. The 13th I already fully booked all day. I think we sould confirm the other two places and then decide very fast.

I think if it can be on friday will be a bit better due to a lot of the memebers on Monday work so they cannot stay with us on sunday

So guys .... I just came from Zeta and he offered me a nice package. Here is what he said. He will obviously section the inside on the bar for us with tables and stools. He will also do us for FREE the following appetizers :

* Bread
* Maltese Platter
* Spring Rolls
* Wontons
* Timpana
* Chips
* Fried Ravjul
* Sausages
* Chicken Fried
* Pork (Oven)
* Chicken (Oven)
* Onion Rings
+ many more

all of these will serve for 30 people. Then I asked him if someone wants to buy food would it be ok and he replied " Emmini my friend, mhux ser ikollok bzonn tiekol iktar  ". He even said that if we would like to get more appetizers, let's say some more chips or some more chicken, he would get us more. Then it all depends on how much we drink  . I also asked him if he would fix us some special prices on drinks and he told me that he is very tight on prices as he already got cheap drinks. For example most of the Shots are 1.80euro each, Foreign Beer 1.80euro each, Local Beer 1.50euro each and for example a bottle of Vodka will only cost us 30euros and he gives us also a free big bottle of lemonade. Guys I saw his diary and Zeta is being booked like crazy at the moment. Till tonight 12th Dec is free but who knows what might happen later on tonight or tomorrow. He wrote me down as to confirm on his diary. It's up to you guys ..... please decide and let me know. We can't take long to decide as time is passing by, and by the looks of it people are showing a lot of interest in this place. One thing he told me is that I need to advise him how many kids are coming too  if we decide to book @ Zeta.
