I have just returned from another trip to QLD, but this time for some freshwater baramundi fishing in Lake Awoonga. We cast lures of all types into snags around trees roots, and even heavy weed.
The ladies l fished with maned 5 barra for the trip ranging from 67cm to 103cm. Even though the fishing was very tough.

Check out this small video clip l put together of the trip.

There are also lots of other species of fish in this dam, from cat fish bone fish and mullet all of which the barramundi feed of. It was good seeing all the bird life around too. Swans, ducks, pelicans, finches and parrots. It was a good relaxing fishing trip.

I must say, very good profesional video. The fishing is out of this world, somthing to wish only for, here in Malta. I like the "end" bit

all the best

Thanks Mario.
I'm getting a little bit more experience with the video editing now.
As for the fishing....it's true when they say that this is 'The lucky country'

Hi Keith.
Was planning to come back there next year, but, since we are now going to New Zealand, and then Guatemala, for some more game fishing, might not make it there till the following year. 2010???
