Ganni interesting post, what I noticed from the pics is that the space between the rod holders isn't that large. It's good for smaller reels but I fear might be more of an issue for the 30lbs wide and 50lbs reels. Do you know if one can get a larger space between the holder part for reel clearance?

my 2 cents nick if u had to use alternate holders than u have space. Also u can alternate rods that is Wide reel rod, then a narrow rod than another wide reel and so on. This way u utilize what u have how u want to.

Valid point nick, however in my opinion there are very few people who have more than 7 big game rods. then you can alternate with other rods just like the is done in the pic. if you buy these from shops (you can search on the net) there is even less space between one rod and the next. 12 rods with spinning reels fit very well.

if any one wants a rack for big game rods jst tell me and it will have more space between one holder and the next, it will be custome made just for you  :P

however for people like me that have a mixture of rods ranging from poles to big game to ledgering rods its perfect and with more spacing it would be just a waste of material and most important space.

10q for pointing that out Skip, this way it is more clear for whoever is interested  :)

Just wanted to add after getting one that these are excellent value for money, well made and a fine addition for keeping everything tidy.
