I use the Grand Slam Hi-Seas braid... definitely not the cheapest braid around but very good quality - which in braid is measured in terms of criteria such as roundness, knot-strength, resistance to abrasion, etc.

An interesting link when choosing which line / braid to buy is   http://www.pcwi.com.au/fishing/linetesting.htm

Guys im trying to see what braid to buy.
I put my eyes on powerpro and till now i found 1400Metres  of .42 @ 100Euros, which i think is a good price.
Any suggestions of good quality braid?? and maybe good prices. I was looking for a thickness of between .40 - .45 for a shimano saragosa 18000 which will be used for jigging and possibly cliff fishing

I don't like Powerpro for jigging.....it has a wax coating on it which wears off and also I had read something about the number of strands in powerpro. Good for trolling line but not jigging.

There had been some posts about ideal line for jigging........Tuf Line XP is very good without spending a fortune
