Alungi/Albacore Trolling/Catches

Destination Sea

I havn't heard of any catches yet. The weather is >:( and i am still on land waiting for some nice  days to lauch.Not worth leaving the boat at sea considering the forecasts.
Marino Iside 500 - Etec 90
Buccaneer 130 - Mercury 20

I agree sea temperature is still not right and weather is still alot unstable we will see in the comming weeks.

There have been a few catches i know of, mainly 35-40 miles out 6-15 kg fish max i heard of was 3 fish in one trip

I did see some fish tracks in the 50-100m depth while bottom fishing this week. Could they be alunghi?

depends on the markings...... they could have been bait balls.......

No no some of them were fish for sure. But cant judge the size yet from the markings.

how deep........ and 100m only you should have tried some jigging, never know ;)

Some were 50m some were 80m and some 100m.
This is why I will be taking jigging lessons soon :)

Anyway what kind of fish can be found in the open water travelling in that depth?

depends on the markings you got... Could be anything from albacore, tuna, swordfish, balls of sardines, plastic bags, seaweed ... Who knows... Where the readings constant sizes and same density???

better you start jigging milli taking photos of your fishfinder.... A pic of the real fish is better;)
