10x benri...i already changed hooks... now i'd like to know how to remove rust stains from the lure?

already searched the net and read that wd40 would be good... but i'm abit sceptic about this sollution,as i think the lubricant will leave a strong scent on the lure

Better if you get the rust stains off you rod's 1st!!!
DON'T put WD-40 on your lures!! I know there was an e-mail going around not so long ago saying that as fish oil is a major component of WD-40 it's makes a good fish attractant...so by that standard of 'logic' its a bit like saying vodka goes well with fried fish,seen as though potatoes (chips) are usually a major component of vodka...Having said that for all i know it might make a new interesting condiment..beats the hell out of ketchup or lemon juice i 'spose    

Seriously don't worry about a couple of rust stains mate! but to avoid them in the future if you rinse your lures under clear water when you get home and give them a once over with a cloth then they wouldn't rust so quickly (ja ghazzin!! )
