there is one in Zabbar actually at Kalkara behind "il-Kaboccini"
there is one at Kalkara ta delceppo underneath Bighi

those are the only two I know of. Hope its of some help.

Anyone know of a decent boatyard that may have a vacancy.
The one SOJ was in over winter, was okay, but very basic, there was no power and water was available now and again.

Hi Guys - I am convinced that the best yard in the South is the one called "Tal Fenek" boat yard - owned by Angelo & Il-Ginger/Joshua - great service and absolutely fantastic people. I winter my boat at this yard and will never go anywhere else. The help they give to one and all is remarkable. It is located on the way down from Zejtun a mile or so before turning into St. Thomas bay - Ir Ramla. Boats are hauled and launched from a large slip at St Thomas bay. Along with the per metre charges there is free water & free electricity. Points/outlets are spread all over the yard for easy access. The cost /met includes. power wash on hauling the boat and launching back into the sea, all for free but only once per annum.
There is a large workshop also available and at times Angelo does a BBQ for us, I like this of course.... hi ummmmmm. Cant find a better yard... "mija fil mija" as we say. You could try to find a "berth" if you so wish but hurry as I think they are full. Angelo's phone number is :79300807. There are several big boats in the yard who gave up Manoel Island and are very pleased in being at Tal Fenek...... BUT NO sailing ones can be stored (with masts) as they cannot go tru the road from Ramla to the yard cos of the overhead cables.
