Imhajjar nixtri luzzu ta 18ft registrat MFC. Jista xi hadd jghidli kemm jigi t-transfer pls? Ippruvajt nicekja mal-fisheries dept u il-prezz li qaltli rajtu naqra ta barra minn hawn (Lm200/Euro465.87)...

They are charging you the same price as if you were doing a new MFC registration. Seems alot I agree but at the moment the MFC register is closed except to brand new unregistered vessels. Surprised a transfer of owner also costs so much, but you can always register the boat S and only pay €50 and then annual licence fee as below:

where the small ship has an engine or engines with a combined power:
(c) not exceeding 9.9 H.P., every five years................................... € 10.00
(d) exceeding 9.9 H.P but not 25 H.P............................................. € 20.00
(e) exceeding 25 H.P. but not 50 H.P............................................. € 30.00
(f) exceeding 50 H.P. but not 75 H.P............................................. € 80.00
(g) exceeding 75 H.P. but not 150 H.P........................................... € 100.00
(h) exceeding 150 H.P. ................................................................... € 140.00
