I recently had the pleasure to meet the owner of Artico Pesca, and I used their Jigging rods in Sardegna. This company has been in the rod building business for ages, they were some of the first people to employ the use of carbon in rod building here in Europe.  Initially by hand, as his father did, now with some of the latest CNC machines, to produce rods that are of extremely high quality.
