Basically NoelGalea asked if his 9yr old son can come out on the day and if he has to pay the entrance fee...... The_Gaffer told him since he's only 9, he can join and does not need to pay.... Then NoelGalea thanked the Gaffer for his reply cos his son enjoys being out on the boat fishing and Noelgales enjoys seeing his son enjoing himself fishing

Thanks for that Robby.  The Forum competition board has decided that all children under the age of 10 need not pay a fee to participate.  I know some of you may suggest that this reasoning is fairly subjective, in that a 9yr old boy who's accompanied his dad on fishing trips might know how to handle a rod better then a 30yr old who's never been out at sea.  However, after careful deliberation, and to promote fishing with our youngsters, we've capped it at 10yrs and below.
