Hi Guys

Can anyone tell me what is the best all round sized rod for spinning from shore is, I don't want to spend too much either.

If you are a beginner, I would recommend a rod that is between 6'6" and 7'6" long. Preferably 2 piece or 1 piece ( it is the best option, but a headache to transport).  The casting range should be in the region of 15g to 40g, and the line weight of the rod between 15lb to 20lb,  Gear it up to a 4000 or 5000 size (shimano size, the daiwa are a little different) and you should be fine.
