Hi everyone  :)

Not so much a fishing report, though some fishing fun was had while on this trip to finally go to the very top of Australia.
The girls have been living there for 6 months now, and has the place sussed out enough for me to go up for a visit.
Rather than right a full report, l'd just like to share lots of photos and a short video clip at the end to give you all a bit of an idea of what we got up to.....

Picked up by the local police

First stop...straight to the top, and the girls organised a few suprises for me

This cartooniture of me was posted on my facebook page by them without me know...it generated lots of interes

one of the many termite mounds up there

Painted crayfish for lunch went down well with oysters, prawns and a few beers

mangroves

Went for a swim at Fruit bat Falls...it was magnificent!

pitcher plants..these things live on insects

Fishing for saratoga..the water here was crystal clear

Free entertainment watch the tourist cross Noalns brook crossing

Next stop Eliot falls and another opportunity to cool off from the humidity

This is the life!!

Relaxing and enjoying the views around Punsands Bay

Siesa Jetty, and sourounding views. The beached were beautiful, but unfortunelty inhabited by crocidiles, and not reccommended for swimming

Time to take the boat out for a fish, and more exploring

Possetion Island...this is where it all began for captain cook

One of the many islands in the area.

Spent the evening at Loyalty Beach for my birthday, and enjoy the sunset.

Sorry for all the photos, but l coulnt narrow it down any further from the 100's of great shots l took there.

here is the short clip..l hope you enjoy, and feel free to ask questions.

Land cruuiserers were doing it easily. There was this one guy in a Jeep that didn't make it through, and drowned it in the middle, after getting pulled out he took a little over 24 hours to get it going again. The poor guy coped heaps...every one was telling him "You bought a Jeep?"
