A lungi / Albacore fishing

As I see it since the albacore have something to eat they don't attach the plastic lures, therefore one should use live bait. The live bait or plastic bait should NOT exceed the bubbles left by the boat.
If you are insisting on plastic lures try few hours later in the same area.

Do you guys think it's worth a try for alungi tomorrow? I'm very hesitant and cannot think of an alternative as most probably lampuki are the size of a vopa!! Of course if you're out for alungi and get another bi-catch that's a different story :)
I'd rather be fishing.....

If its worth or not I don't know but tomorrow the weather is promising, it is my 1st Saturday off in weeks so I will be there. I bought some fresh bait as here people are saying that alongi is not after lures (still will have my lures with me just in case) If you are in Filfla area and you want to give a shout I will leave the VHF on 67. I Just hope to enjoy the day  ;D

Yesterday I tried for alongi using lures and fresh bait but had no luck I also tried for dolphin fish south west of Filfla but no luck at all. We ended up swimming. anyone had some luck with albacore yesterday ?

Yesterday we went out - landed one and lost another. Looks like the season came to an end!
I'd rather be fishing.....
