La Dolce Vita 159 St. Georges Road, St. Julians - Make sure you book, service can be very slow if they are busy, but the food is very good, especially the fish. It's not cheap....

San Giuliano Restaurant Spinola Bay, St. Julians - Italian Restaurant Serving Fresh Fish

Barracuda Restaurant 194 Main Street, St. Julians - A fine dining experience overlooking the sea. Excellent food, but expensive http://www.wgc-group.com/barracuda/

Il Maltija is one of the best and few maltese speciality restaurants on the island. Facing the Westin Dragonara go right down the hill. Can‘t miss it then, it will be on the corner in front of you to your right.

Hi we tried the sciacca

http://www.sciaccamalta.com

and it was very very nice, my guess it is more Sicilian than Maltese but the quality of the food was impressive.
