I agree with J_Z, the V-System is much better than the Crossover Trio, and if you do not have a specific budget in mind I would also try to find a Shimano FI as this version might be in sale as a newer version is now available (FJ).

same drag force as the VS with a better price tag

I can vouch for these reels. Caught a 3.5kgs plamtu with no problems at all!
