i always use this knot which i find quite easy and strong. we dont expect to catch 30kg fish from shore, do we? Smiley

You never know! It s not as impossible as most people think.

Sargos.. it is not common.. but It can happen.. I know people who caught 25Kg+ by spinning from land..

If it happens to you and you lose the fish of a lifetime over a crappy knot.. you will not forgive yourself for a long long time Wink

My suggestion for tying on a leader to your braided line is the Tony Pena knot.  It is not hard to learn and you can master it in an evening.  The only other better alternative is the PR Knot using a bobbin.

i use the albright knot...i found it pretty safe Smiley some use the uni to uni...i never tried it but it is the most used i think Wink
