can you advice me how can I catch a grouperwith line? I know an old friend that each time I try it, she's always on the bottem of  the cave and will be really difficult to take it out. Its a nice one and think with a line I can catch it. Its by a point,in a 12mtrs deep cave, but think if make some type of good bait I can catch it

all you need is a 90mm or 100mm line with a hook. if you are fishing from the cliffs you only make the last 20m with fishing line the rest you use collin. you can use whole kavalli or tumrell for bait. if the tumbrell is big you cut in half.

This week I will try it maybe she looks at the bait like a christmas presant. :)

Yesturday we went for a dive and it was rare to see thesea like that. It was full of sea breams. From 10-20mtrs, the sea was full of 800gr+ seabream. Our target was Ajs but only 4 we caught.

But the cooler we filed it up the same:

4kgs Ajs
15Kg octopus
1 3.7kg white grouper
1 2.2kg grouper
8kg sea bream
1 800gr dentex

I lost a mullet of 4Kg+ and was really sad cos this one was going to be a really nice fight with it and really has good tast. We where fishing by the cliffs and the only mullet I eat is from this place.

By next month there will be the whole schoolso will wait for them  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

We couldn't take pics yesturday cos when we went up it was raining :(

Prosit Dward! My heartburn persisted until yesterday evening...at least it's gone now! Was getting worried because having heartburn for three whole days is not a good sign.

A white grouper is a dott tal-faxxi - Epinephalus aeneus

check about that rob cos is better to relax for a week. Maybe some study tension.

Yes its a dott. We went to find a rock cos 3 hrs before I was doing some deep aspettoes for ajs, and at my right hand side I saw 2 small groupers loking at me. Went down to check but saw only those two but didn't had the torch with me. So I marked the bering and re went with grouper man (Kenny) We where checking some rocks for seabream in 16mtr and at a moment I hearded him shouting, with the fish out from the water. He was on a rock and saw this white grouper undernet him. Pulled a bit on its side and shoot. Really a nice fish. Will be put in the oven by my sister for christmas.  :P :P :P

Then went for that 2 groupers but where small and their mum didn'y came for a visit. Tomorrow we are suppose to go in 3, Kenny. Giovanni and I, will try for sea breams as giovanni is an expert for them. They know the place better then me so will try some deep diving for a grandma grouper and at the dentex place.

Thanks for the info guys.  I never saw one (in the sea).

Nice catch there, especially the seabream.
