Would love to Freedive on Malta March/April 2013. Clubs, buddies ???

Hey guys,
my name is Jakub, I'm 27 german-polish.
Id love to escape the horrible German weather and do some freediving soon. I heard a lot of beautiful things about Malta.
As I'm traveling alone I need to hook up with some people that share my love for water and holding breath!

Is there any active Apnea or Speerfishin community on Malta or Gozo?
Are there maybe even Apnea diving schools? Where you dive, where are the best spots?

I would really appreciate getting some help.
