Trolling rod & reel for a beginner and some other help.

Hi people

Im new to the forum and trolling with a rod and reel....Im looking to start and maybe start to fish for larger fish such as albacore.

Ive managed to find a reel over the internet and have seen a fair few reviews and believe it may be good but would like to know your thoughts. The reel is a Shimano TLD 20...i found this for GBP99 new....what are your thoughts on this reel?

Also with regards to a rod...im not sure what I should be looking for....im not looking to spend a lot for this at the moment...since like i said im just starting out. Im looking for something versatile....that i can use to fish for something like albacore, but then use it also when the lampuki start to run...i will be looking for something that would be ideal with the reel mentioned above.

Also, could such a rod a reel be used to bottom fish or would i need a different combo for this sort of fishing?

Since im new to trolling with a rod, I would appreciate some help with setting up the line....ive been reading a lot of different opinions some saying you should use a braided line with mono attached to the last 4 feet and have a florocarbon leader. What do you guys find practical? Do you use snap swivels on your lines to change up your gear?

Sorry for all the beginner questions, but I would appreciate some help.
