A woman who has never seen her husband fishing, doesn't know what a patient man she married !

There is no such thing as too much equipment.

Very impressive and shocking video. Thanks for sharing. A friend of mine had a similar experience but on a much smaller scale with a small swordfish. Have to be very careful

most probably thats in Australian waters... They have to reel the fish in quickly as it gets torn apart by sharks, so they back up quick retrieve the line either gaff or tag it, but the fish was way too energetic didnt have time to exhaust some of its power, so it ended on deck not intentionally I hope (naaaaaa not that intelligent). Well at least luckily no one got hurt.
Nice video thanks for sharing

Shanook is absoloutly right in saying that this was in Australian waters. It was during the heavy tackle season out from Cairns in North Queensland on a boat called 'Little Audrey' which comes up frome Sydney each season. Its skippered by Captain Daniel Carson, and like everyone else there, they were targeting Giant Black Marlin which are caught in large quantities there in excess of 1000lb. One of the crew copped a bump on the head from the game chair back which was flung across by the marlin....could have been much much worse.
