Imsell (Garfish/needlefish)

Hi people this is my first post in this forum. I just wanted to know if at the moment you are catching any garfish from the shore. I personally am from Gozo. Yesterday I went to Xlendi but unfortunately I didn't see any garfish after feeding them berley ( a mixture of prawns, canned tuna and bread). I used bacon as bait but as I said I didn't catch anything. Do you know any places in Gozo where one can fish for garfish please and is bacon the right bait to use. I also tried to use a small lure but it was in vain once again. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I did not hear of anybody catching any,thou there must be some near fishfarms. I do not think you are doing anything wrong,probabbly lack of fish ..........yet.

your e doing everything right go to dwejra if u don t catch from there forget everything man that s the best place in gozo for garfish.
