Same here.... I got to know from the_Gaffer even though once again I will not be applying for this farse! I'd prefer releasing the tuna if I accidently hook one.
It's quite clear that there must have been some sort of agenda for not publishing anywhere and now most probably the plan has been foiled by publishing in the MFF :-)

Have you noticed that the permit is not fixed to 1 tuna specimen per season but 1 tuna per fishing trip?

Don't think it was every 1 per season. One per trip was always how I remember it providing the quota was still open/available.
