Not to run away with the thread, but have any of you made any other trips to the pens? Our last trip ended with Dorado, yellowtail, and a mako shark.....One of my clients from the North East corner of our country has been doing well and sent some photos of his yellowfin and marlin. I posted them to my web site under Testimonials. All of his Tuna and the marlin picture have have jumped on the spreader bars you can see them in the photos....

This hasn't been an ideal season for us Mike, both from a fish perspective and even our own time allocation. Various things have cropped up causing us to cancel our trips which has been a shame and the wind hasn't been helping either.

We've still got to do a tuna pen trip, ideally spending the night out there with the swordlight and electralumes but the info we have is that the tuna are a good 40m down and not usually surfacing even though ppl are chumming.
