Hi Everyone, I am new to this forum and i must say it is very informative!:)

Last Saturday we went fishing and caught 27 vopi. We had a great time and were impressed that by 1.30am we caught even more than earlier in the evening. We are new to fishing so we went fishing for vopi. A fisherman there told me that shops nowadays have a bait that looks like a straw and doesnt smell like shrimp does. I am not very keen on the smell Do you know what it is called and where one can find it please?

Im new to this forum. I have been fishing from when i was a liitle boy. Since i live in the cottonera fishing was always part of my life. My Name is Arthur, I am from Australia.

I wish to learn more about the fishing of tuna mainly bluefin tuna as my father fishes to retire in Malta next year and start a smaller fishing business with his best and long time maltese friend.

Im helping him as he doesnt really know about the legally requirements to fish bluefin tuna and doesnt really know where to begin.

Anyone that can give me help thank you, it will be much appreciated.

Hi Fellow anglers.
My name is Phil my wife is Morgan we will be visiting you for a short period flying in fron the 7th March 2013.
We are a mature couple in our late 50s.
My wife has been planning all sorts of things like snorkelling horse riding etc so I need to get my bit in before she books the whole seven days solid.
We will be staying  in Sliema so information relating to angling in the area would be appreciated as in what, how and when.
My main experience is in shore fishing for bass and may bring a telescopic beach caster and possibly a short spinning rod.
Looking forward as this will be our first holiday for many years.
