| April 10, 2008, 07:10:26 CET It's a short nose spearfish I believe, as they seem to be the most common around Malta rather than Swordfish. Catch and Release hasn't been implemented here yet and most of these type of fish are caught on long lines by commercial fishermen. |

| April 07, 2008, 08:41:55 CET Nice fish! what species is it? I have to say though that it saddens me that it was killed. Given the pressure on billfish everywhere, shouldn't Malta also be advocating catch-and-release for these magnificent fish? Fine capture anyway! |
