This week another 2 friend had meet mola mola in different dive sites. Very nice to see.

Magnificent fish. How nice.
Guys don't hook it up, It's no good, and it is such an easy prey that gives no pride whatsoever. I appreciate that you did phone before acting, now knowing what it was. That shows a good sense of responsibility.

This one was quite big too. We were thinking of gaffing it but I called a friend and he said that it no good to eat. So I just took some photos. When I saw its fin some distantance away I tought it was a shark too.

Nice pic prosit! Me & a friend once saw one very close to land & it was massive! At first we thought it was dead as it was laying flat on its side & there was a seagull on it pecking at it.However when it came directly beneath us we saw its small front fins and mouth were moving!!..the seagull was just picking white worms/parasites off it!! :o Like a spa treatment on the move!!

yes u findthem with the fads as well. first time i saw one i thought it was a shark with th fin jutting out of the water.then when the fin stayed practically in the same placa (its a slow moving fish)i went over and saw this mola mola.......by the way not good for eating.

Its a sun fish MOLA MOLA  WE get them here in the uk
