Description: Hey guys... sorry that's been a while since my last post... I do have a quick look twice a week in the forum, but with my limited time it's hard to post... Anyway, seems like the last 2 weeks did produce a few fish for a lot of the spearos out there... including me  ... I'm finding time, to spend a few days doing my favorite hobby.last Friday i set off with my mate Kenny for a day's spear fishing ... after the day started badly with the need to change one of the bearings on my trailer we set off diving an hour and a half later than scheduled... as we all do on the way there we were talking of how long its been since we caught some decent fish and so on... the first spot we went to, produced 2 nice 2kg + runners ( sawrell imperial) a big shoal of around 200 surrounded us and we caught 2... minutes later landing a nice meager of 1.350g from a 26mtrs drop>>> day begun well... moving to our next destination proved harder due to strong NW wind and current so we changed plan and decided to fish a more wind protected zone... after catching a few bream and another meager... i came in an area full of big boulders in around 17 meters depth...i started to make long agguatos around the rocks when i noticed the tail of a fish disappearing underneath a big boulder with another boulder wedging itself on the first ...thus creating a sort of canal underneath the rocks... i advanced towards the entrance ready to press the trigger... but as soon as i caught sight of the grouper it quickly shot out from the other side leaving me helpless looking at the light coming in from the other side....  as i was contemplating if to go through the tunnel after the fish to maybe find it out there somewhere!!!! Guess what? ?? the fish swam back in the whole and was staring at me from the other side a good 4 meters away from me ...click... too late for the fish... fooled me once but not the second time the spear struck in the head and came out from near the tail end... nice catch... 4.5kg grouper... same day i caught one of 2.6kg and also missed a shot on a 6 kg grouper ....
