twoutes Posts:344 ![]() | March 14, 2009, 04:23:44 CET Hi Aaron.We use circle hooks so most of the time the hook is in the corner of the mouth. Where possible we remove the hook, but always cut the leader very close to the mouth.The hook is NOT stainless steel so it doesn't take long for it to corrode. We then hold the marlin upright by the bill and dorsal fin with the boat moving forward at about 5 knots. Once the fish start to kick we send her on her way. Very satisfying |
