| June 23, 2011, 19:58:03 CET Thanks Baghira for the pic. During my many years at sea I have never seen such activity, a wonderful spectacle. Hundreds of Tuna and Albacore were just darting out of the surface. One even shot up about 15ft in front of the bow. The sad thing, as Silvio states, is that we only got one strike, a BFT that snapped the line after some 20 minutes. Most think that this is a feeding frenzy...sorry guys but according to research in the USA the fish are mating crazily and have no interest in the lures but on something else!!. |
